PaperMirror credits: how to buy detection and one-click rewrite
TL;DR Detection is 1 credit/character; rewrite is 2 credits/character. New users get 1,000 credits, plus one free 1,000-character scan per day. Coursework fits the ¥30 pack; dissertations that cycle belong on ¥50 or ¥100. Credits never expire.
Overseas detectors bill USD monthly. Grey-market shops quote vague “per thousand characters.” PaperMirror locks the ruler: 1 credit = 1 character (including punctuation and spaces). The submit screen shows estimated use. A failed service does not charge.
How billing works

Higher tiers include more bonus credits. Rewrite costs double, so the real spend is the lower-AI loop, not the first scan. That is unlike sites that only sell “one look at a report,” and why we are explicit that you pay for rewrite: rewrite burns generation cost; detection’s marginal cost is tiny.
What one paper roughly costs
- 3,000-character tutorial: scan about ¥3; rewrite 800 red characters about ¥1.6; retest another ¥3.

- 20,000-character dissertation chapter: jump to the ¥50 pack so you do not run out mid-scan.
