Pre-submit AI-score checklist for international students

TL;DR 24 hours before submit: scan the whole paper, clear the red band, retest, read it, back it up. PaperMirror collapses the first three into one login. If credits run short, buy the ¥30 or ¥50 pack — do not send the draft to a grey-market shop.

24 hours before submit

  1. Export the latest .docx. Save a dated local backup.
  2. In PaperMirror, upload or paste the whole paper (abstract through conclusion; figure text is separate).
  3. Read the overall AI rate. Aim for the low-risk band. See what AI rate is normal.
  4. List every high-risk paragraph. Literature review, discussion, and conclusion first.
  5. One-click rewrite or hand-edit, then retest immediately. Do not wait overnight and judge on another site.
  6. Check citations, numbers, and terms your supervisor named as keepers.
  7. Submit in the school system. Close draft links in browser history.

One week before submit

  • Write the methods you actually ran, not a pure template.
  • Group work: know which sections are yours. Scanning only your part still drops context — scan the file you will submit.
  • Sign up for PaperMirror, claim 1,000 credits, estimate length, then buy a credit pack so payment does not stall on due day.

Do not

  • Do not send the final draft to an anonymous checking group.
  • Do not scan only the introduction.
  • Do not buy extra grey-market accounts because of the “international 10%, UK 35%” myth. The AI models are the same family.
  • Do not submit unreadable sentences just to chase a number.
  • Do not treat a PaperMirror (or any self-check) report as official school proof.

In-house engine, red paragraphs you can rewrite, credits billed for what you use.

Start a self-check

Detection and rewrite are for pre-submit self-checks. Follow your school's integrity policy. PaperMirror is not Turnitin or CNKI. The school system is the source of truth.
